About this Event: Join us to learn about the opportunities and challenges of producing food in the city with a tour of Johnnie Mae Farm.

We will demonstrate how we adapt growing practices to prevent heavy metal exposure and provide produce through a longer growing season. You can also see how an old firehouse was transformed into a commercial-grade kitchen and educational space. The tour will be both indoors and outdoors, with some walking on short grass. We will still do the tour if it rains.
