Join the Plant. Pick. Plate. Cooking Class!

Gardening and cooking classes for students in grades 5–9 will be held every other Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Johnnie Mae Farm. Gardening classes will be offered on alternating Tuesdays, with times that may vary.

These free monthly classes feature hands-on gardening and cooking activities, take-home toolkits, recipe books, and opportunities to earn points for market gifts. Kids will grow food, build confidence, and have fun!

Made possible by a grant from the United States Conference of Mayors, this program is inspired by nutrition and designed to engage and empower youth through food.
